The Tutor will provide Reading Tutoring to the Student online using the virtual GOOGLE MEET link. (Or in-person tutoring may be available at an agreed upon location.)
 
TUTORING FEES:
The tutoring fee will be $35.00 per hour.
 
PAYMENT:

Payment for the tutoring session is due at the time of service. Fees are payable via CASH APP.

TUTORING SESSIONS:
• Tutoring sessions will be 1 hour.

• Please specify the number of days per week or per month on the online form.
• Tutoring will continue until further notice or at another agreed upon day and time.

           
GUARANTEES/WARRANTIES:
The Tutor will provide each Student with an individualized plan to improve reading skills. However, the Tutor cannot make any promises, guarantees or warranties with regards to a Student's performance as a result of any tutoring provided.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND:

If the student must cancel a prepaid session, the student will receive a refund. Or the student may apply the prepayment toward a future session. If the Tutor must cancel a session for any reason, the tutor agrees to refund the payment, or apply the payment toward a future session. ​

LATE ARRIVAL/NO SHOW:
• Fees will not be adjusted if a Student logs on late or end their sessions early.

• If the student does not log on after 10 minutes from the scheduled time of the session without notifying the Tutor, s/he will be considered a "no show" for that session. The Tutor will terminate the session and a NO SHOW penalty of $10.00 will be charged. The penalty must be paid BEFORE the next scheduled session.

• If the student has 3 NO-SHOWS within a month, this contract will be terminated by the Tutor.
 
OBLIGATIONS OF THE TUTOR:
1. The Tutor will make an individualized plan to address reading problems or difficult areas.
2. The Tutor will keep the student’s information confidential.
 
OBLIGATIONS OF THE STUDENT:
1. The student will participate in all tutoring activities and reading assignments.
2. However, at no time shall the Tutor be required or obliged to do the student’s homework or school assignments.
 
TERMINATION:
Either the Parent/Guardian or the Tutor may terminate this tutoring contract for any reason at any time by giving 24 hours notice. Upon termination, the Tutor agrees to return the balance of any prepayment.
 
PARENT/GUARDIAN:
Students who are minors must have their Parent or Guardian enter into this tutoring contract on their behalf and accept and agree to all the terms and conditions that are set out in this document.
